Wait on the lord

Know who you are in Christ Jesus

While Waiting

In your wait, you are not to lay as victims, but prepare as warriors! Putting on the full armor of God (reading God's word, praying and taking authority over the enemy - who is the one who caused your distress or unpleasant situation in the first place). Not that you are completely innocent in the matter, you're the one listening to his promptings, instead of listening to the voice of God through the Holy Spirit.  God is  waiting for you to listen and understand!  Just because you don't see something immediately when you pray, does not mean that He is not working all things together for your good behind the scenes.  Because He is! In fact, He is there for you even if you're not praying! He has His heavenly ministering angels with you at all times.  It's just that you are so focused on what you can't do, or how you feel instead of focusing on what you CAN do and more importantly WHAT HE CAN AND WILL DO.

God is in the waiting! He is there by your side right now trying to bless you with peace and joy, and trying to show you the next step, He is waiting for you to receive His blessings.   So just be still and know that He is God. (Psalm 46:10) That means recognize His power and His ability to get things done.  Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! (Ephesians 6:10) Glory be to God forever more!

Let's look at the definition of a miracle

a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.

"the miracle of rising from the grave"

synonyms: wonder, marvel, sensation, phenomenon, supernatural phenomenon, mystery

"his recovery was a blessed miracle"

a highly improbable or extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment that brings very welcome consequences.

"an amazing product or achievement, or an outstanding example of something.

"his recovery was a blessed miracle"

Most people think that something has to happen immediately when they pray in order for there to be a miracle, but that is not true.  If you are praying for something and don't see it manifest quickly that doesn't mean that God has not started the process of changing things for you.   In fact, we are told to pray and believe that we have received  and then we will have.  Don't doubt that God heard you and don't doubt that you have received what you asked for no matter what things look like at the moment. We are not to walk by sight or feelings but by faith!

(Mark 11:24, Matthew 21:22, John 14:13, James 1: 6-8) (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Psalms 27:14 - Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.

Psalm 37:6-9  He will bring forth your righteousness as a light, and your justice as the noonday sun.

Be silent in the Lord’s presence and wait patiently for him. Don’t be angry because of the one whose way prospers

or the one who implements evil schemes.  Calm your anger and abandon wrath. Don’t be angry— it only leads to evil.  Those who do evil will perish. But those who wait on the Lord will inherit the land.

Psalms 130:5 - I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

Don't give up - Don't give in

Instead, get up and dive in

 to the word!

Here in the waiting
